YA GAME DAY
Monday, January 16 @ 2:00-4:00pm. For those in Grades 6-12.
Looking for something to do on your day off? Spend the afternoon at the library playing games! We’ll have Wii plus board games like Apples to Apples, Settlers of Catan, Taboo, and Clue. Feel free to bring your own games, Wii controllers, etc. FREE SNACKS!

Teen Writers Group
Third Thursday of each month, 6:00-8:00pm. For ages 12-18.
Are you a teen writer? Would you like to come share your work with other teen writers in a safe, supportive atmosphere? If so, this is the group for you. Come and have your voice heard! Every third Thursday beginning January 19th, a small group of teen writers is invited to come read and workshop their poems, short stories, or other original works. The group will be lead by Nina J Davidson, published writer, college professor, and former high school English teacher. There is limited space and REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Toy Collection Success

Thank you to everyone who donated a toy at the Library. The Community Action Agency of Delaware County picked up a full barrel this morning. Toys will be sorted and distributed to local shelters for the Christmas holiday.

We are still collecting new, tagged pajamas (sizes infant through xxl) for Pajamaprogram.org. Recently we were able to donate 21 pairs of pajamas to the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County. We would like to make another donation of warm pajamas for the winter season. Please consider donating.

Donate Pajamas for Christmas

Donate a new pair of pajamas at the Library. On behalf of the PajamaProgram.org, we accept pajamas (with tags) in all sizes and donate them where they are needed, locally. If you can, please drop of a pair in time for the holiday! They will be greatly appreciated.
