SUMMARY:Friday Film Club: Little Pink House
DESCRIPTION:Based on a true story\, a small-town paramedic named Susette Kelo never expected to be at the center of one of our nation’s most controversial legal battles. She leaves a bad marriage and starts over in a new town. She buys a rundown cottage with a gorgeous water view. She fixes it up and paints it pink. Then she discovers powerful politicians want to bulldoze her blue-collar neighborhood for the benefit of pharmaceutical giant Pfizer. Susette emerges as the reluctant leader of her neighbors in an epic battle that goes all the way to the Supreme Court and helps millions of Americans protect their homes. \nFriday Film Club starts at 1:00 PM in the library’s upstairs theater and is for adults 18 & up. \nHot Tea\, Pastries & Popcorn served and discussion after all movies.
