SUMMARY:Friday Film Club: Calvary
DESCRIPTION:A Cripping Who done it or Who’s going to do it? \nCalvary takes place over one fateful week\, from Sunday to Sunday\, when Father James (Brendan Gleeson) is a good priest who is faced with sinister and troubling circumstances brought about by a mysterious member of his parish. Although he continues to comfort his own fragile daughter (Kelly Reilly) and reach out to help members of his church with their various scurrilous moral – and often comic – problems\, he feels sinister and troubling forces closing in\, and begins to wonder if he will have the courage to face his own personal Calvary. \n  \nOur Friday Film Club in May shines a SPOTLIGHT on Secrets!\nAfter watching The Post\, we wanted to revisit another uncovered secret by an investigative news team\, SPOTLIGHT\, and compare notes. To see all the films shown this month click here. \n  \nFilms start at 1:00 pm in the library’s upstairs theater and is for adults 18 & up.\nHot Tea\, Pastries & Popcorn served and discussion after all movies.
