COVID-19 Response – Library Remains Closed

Consistent with Governor Tom Wolf’s order to close Pennsylvania schools indefinitely, the Office of Commonwealth Libraries directs Pennsylvania public libraries to remain closed until further notice is given.
When the time comes to carry out plans to re-open libraries, the Office of Commonwealth Libraries will direct libraries to undergo a preparation period prior to any formal re-opening to the public.  More about our plans for re-opening can be found at: Office of Commonwealth Libraries COVID-19 Resource Page
No fines will accrue during this closure period and we urge people to hold on to any overdue items as there will be sweeping fine amnesty.

Our Library needs an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. We may not be able to have our regular fundraisers that help us thrive, but we are not giving up, we are your Hometown Library and with your help we can meet the challenge of adding more online services and opening safely.
