OPENING JUNE 15!
Delaware County is in the Yellow Phase, and we are offering Curbside Pick-up during the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 10 am – 1 pm.
Tuesday and Thursday: 4 – 7 pm.
Our Book Drop is OPEN, ready for your Returns.
You can return your items now!
The earlier you return items, the earlier we can disinfect, and have available for Curbside Pick-up.
So how is Curbside Pick-Up going to work:
Just call us: 610-566-1918, starting June 15 to place your curbside order, during our M/W/F & SAT 10 am – 1 pm Daytime Hours, or T/TH 4 – 7 pm Evening Hours. You can also send an email: email@example.com at any time (include name and barcode), but please give us 24-48 hours for confirmation response. When your items are available for pickup stop by during the curbside hours and give us a call when you are outside.
Maintain Social Distancing when outside waiting for your books.
Our staff will be utilizing all appropriate PPE, and placing your books on a table at the exterior doors.
We can only retrieve items in our collection. Delaware County Libraries will not be delivering books in-between libraries, so your existing HOLDS not at our library, will not be available. So please return your items in our New Bigger Book Drop 24/7 on the corner of Front & Jackson Streets, or place items in the black plastic bin outside marked: RETURNS (Do NOT use for Book Sale donations, which are NOT being accepted at this time), on our porch during posted hours of operation.
Email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org what you like to read, or tell us genres, subjects, authors you like, and we’ll pick a stack of books for you. A Blind Date with a Book! Include your DELCO Libraries barcode, and phone number.
Don’t have a library card, get one here!
Book Sale donations are not being accepted until we can allow patrons and volunteers (our book sale sorters) in the library. We do not have a date, but we will announce when we can accept book sale donations again.
Please be advised these hours are based on the current Yellow Phase Timeline, and subject to PA State & DELCO Guidelines. Check back often for revisions or adjustments.
