Friday Film Club: A Walk in the Clouds

For November we are all about being Thankful for Food & Drink.
We travel to Wine Country in Northern California and hope all the vineyards stay safe from fires.
We then go into the main course with the Big Night, and get ready for our Thanksgiving Feasts with Julie & Julia!

November 1 @ 1 PM: A Walk in the Clouds

The movie, set in the vineyards of Northern California in the months right after World War II. When soldier Paul Sutton (Keanu Reeves) is on his way home he realizes that he barely knows his young wife, Betty (Debra Messing). With the couple’s relationship strained and Paul haunted by memories of the war, he is happy to have a diversion in the form of beautiful traveler Victoria Aragon (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón). Circumstances force Paul to pose as Victoria’s new husband for her close-knit Mexican-American family, a situation that brings tension and unexpected results. And it sets their story in a place of breathtaking beauty…Northern California wine country.

Films are shown Friday Afternoon at 1 PM in our upstairs theater for adults 18 & up.
