February 22, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Event Navigation

We have Oscar Fever and are replacing Beautiful Boy (the DVD release delayed) with Bohemian Rhapsody!
Bohemian Rhapsody is up for five Oscars in total, including Best Picture, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, and Film Editing. Rami Malek is nominated for Best Actor for his performance as Mercury; it’s his first ever Oscar nod.
Queen have announced that they will perform at the Academy Awards ceremony this Sunday, February 24. The band will be composed of original members guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, fronted by singer Adam Lambert.
Bohemian Rhapsody is an enthralling celebration of Queen, their music, and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and convention to become one of history’s most beloved entertainers. Following Queen’s meteoric rise, their revolutionary sound and Freddie’s solo career, the film also chronicles the band’s reunion, and one of the greatest performances in rock history.
Films are shown Friday Afternoon at 1 PM in our upstairs theater for adults 18 & up.
Hot Tea, Pastries & Popcorn served and discussion after all movies.
