Friday Film Club: Can You Ever Forgive Me?

In Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Melissa McCarthy stars as Lee Israel, the best-selling celebrity biographer who made her living in the 1970’s and 80’s profiling the likes of Katharine Hepburn, Tallulah Bankhead, Estée Lauder and journalist Dorothy Kilgallen. When Lee found herself unable to get published because she had fallen out of step with the marketplace, she turned her art form to deception.

Films are shown Friday Afternoon at 1 PM in our upstairs theater for adults 18 & up.

Our films for March start with A Private War, then we travel Among Wolves and later ask, Can You Ever Forgive Me? We go out in March finding harmony in Green Book and end with If Beale Street Could Talk.
