Friday Film Club: HARRIET

Based on the thrilling and inspirational life of an iconic American freedom fighter, HARRIET tells the extraordinary tale of Harriet Tubman’s escape from slavery and transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes. Her courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history.    For her performance in the film, Erivo received nominations at the Academy Awards, Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild, as well as an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song (“Stand Up”).

Films are shown Friday Afternoon at 1 PM in our upstairs theater for adults 18 & up.
Hot Tea, Pastries & Popcorn served and discussion after all movies.
