Friday Film Club: Pain & Glory

Films are shown Friday Afternoon at 1 PM in our upstairs theater for adults 18 & up.
Hot Tea, Pastries & Popcorn served, and discussion after all movies.

Pain and Glory is a Spanish drama film directed and written by Pedro Almodóvar. The film made its international debut at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where the film was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or, while Banderas won the award for Best Actor and Alberto Iglesias won for Best Soundtrack. Pain and Glory was selected as the Spanish entry for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, and Banderas nominated for Best Actor. It was chosen by Time magazine as the best film of the year.
